Secret Essence Cakes is a luxury dessert cafe located in the heart of Essex. Our mission was to provide them with a social media strategy for their new cake shop and eCommerce store that would encourage cake lovers, food bloggers and influencers to come and experience their cakes.

With all social media strategies, we begin with extensive market research including looking at data, industry trends, competitors and conducting a thorough target market analysis. We then carry-out a full audit of their existing channels to figure out what the brand needs to BIN and what they need to BANK.

With the research gathered, we created a full social media marketing strategy which included customer personas, focus channels, hashtags, post frequency and content type suggestions, time of day analysis and brand messaging and positioning. We also provided them with a range of content ideas for various topical campaigns to use and roll out through the year.
